don't work and no instructions

Received quite promptly, and they do work. I just needed to fit a power plug to the wires. Points to note: - the wires are very short - the earth wire is not grounded to the chassis at all (it is stripped but just float behind the pcb) - it is tin not aluminium as the ad claims - the dimmer function does not work on the remote - it does not default to anything useful when you power on. it starts with random colour change flashing. so if you want to use it in the garden as suggested then you can just

Cheap and cheerful. The overall casing is a bit 'flimsy' and I don't think I would trust them to be 100% waterproof as they are and would probably put them in a separate housing or at least run a bead of silicon sealant around the edge of them. Remote control can be a bit 'hit or miss', but it works. Light output is very goo and very bright. One thing to remember is that if you disconnect the power to the lights, they will not remember the last setting you had them on and you will need to re-select
