Introduction:
OpenNCC DK is an open source AI CAM hardware platform, equipped with Intel Movidius Myriad X visual processing unit (VPU), it is a low-power system-on-chip (SoC), used for drones, mobile robots, industrial smart cameras , VR/AR and other devices to accelerate deep learning and other artificial intelligence vision applications. Myriad X will provide ten times the deep neural network (DNN) performance of Myriad 2 under the same power consumption conditions. The theoretical computing power of Myriad X is based on 4+ TOPS and achieves a DNN peak throughput of over trillion times per second (TOPS). The vector unit of Myriad X is a special SHAVE processor optimized for computer visual workloads. Myriad X also supports the latest LPDDR4.
