It easily sharpened my cheap knives, making them sharp enough to slice through tomato's without crashing them. Sharpening takes less than a minute, and it involves sliding the knife through the slit marked 1 a couple of times, and then through the slit marked 2 a couple more times. Done. Suction cup works great.
