Simply plug the brush in via the micro USB at the bottom of the brush and wait until the charge indicator shows solid green. According to other reviews this gives 30 days brushing action. The brush is very light and slim and is comfortable in your hand. One press of the button gives a faster speed and another a slightly slower. The brushes has a half second brake every 30 seconds
