This camera is not Hisilicon chip based! not running linux and not rootable/ firmware updatable. Main chip is FH8610. Camera sensor is GC0308 640x480 and not 720P as stated. Quality at night is very poor, have not tried audio. Quality of this product is very good! Works reasonably well, Easy to set up, Image quality good, says it's 1080 but looks more like 720 Doesn't exactly meet description! It says it's 1080 cam and includes external USB battery, I didn't find the USB external battery just external battery with a connector and additional Micro usb slot for charging inside the camera! Still testing the camera , so far dropped connection on me twice but seems to be stable!

The camera itself is very small and easy to conceal. Picture quality is decent, but the audio quality is pretty poor. but for my application that's not a problem. The user guide is horribly translated and very difficult to follow, but once you install the app on your phone setup is pretty intuitive and so is its use. The CD that came with it, presumably a PC version of the app, was blank, so I've yet to get this working with my laptop. All in all, it's a pretty good value for the price.
