    The item has solid look and feel of a quality made tool. However, it does not perform too well with steel on my mini mill, making too much chatter. But this is rather to be expected with such a long shank and not very rigid piece of equipment. It works great on aluminum, though. I am thinking about cutting the shank to about half length and see how it will work then.
