Got the 7A version, which uses the LM2679 which is officially listed as 5A, but looking in the data sheet, this is dependent on the Radj, and it will typically be 6.3A, and can be as high as 8.1 depending on supporting components. So I belive it will deliver the promised 6.5A bit heavier bursts. These will become my new preferred UBEC for electronics in my planes.

Need to solder a battery plug to it. It works well for RC stuff but not to regulate volt to other electronics or board. I tried to power up Raspberry Pi with it and I got low voltage warning constantly. The voltage hovers around 4.9.

As I planned to build a hexbot out of mg945 servos, I had to find suitable UBECs and these are the suitable ones

i been using it for a while now, its Switch Bec, powered: Fc with servoes, osd and GPS on it, some low AIO cameras etc.. never had any problems, very useful stuff!
