I received V3.0, the RX TX pins are moved compared to previous versions, so in order to use UART with SKR v1.4 board, you need to set the jumpers on SKR like the first picture, also you need to use the jumpers on the top of the 2209(like second picture). I found out this after a lot of fiddling and googling, this should be documented as it can result a lot of frustration for many people.

items received all packaging say it is v2 but on pcb of stepper it says it is v3.

received a v3.1 version. these need jumper set normally, NOT diagonally! one more thing is that if you debug serial connection you HAVE TO apply voltage not only to VIO but to VM pin as well. otherwise there is no response (so the 4-pin cables which come along with the drivers are in fact useless unless your other side is one-wire serial capable). of course in a printer this works fine

Drivers have a slightly different pinout than most and an incorrect silkscreen but a change in the jumpers was all that was needed for the driver to work great. Super silent and a huge upgrade

Working superb with SKR 1.3. I use UART with cable jumper, no jumpers underneath. Using 12v and no noise.
